I am the person that spearheaded the campaign to save James Brooks “Flight” mural; I also hung that B314 Clipper and campaigned to have Marine Air Terminal declared a Landmark, Applaud a completely original look from the floor into the wild blue yonder of 1940 with a birds eye view of the history of Flight as a chaser!.Nice Geoffrey Arend

  2. So special to see the largest WPA mural in full surround in one of the oldest operating airport terminals in the world.

    It is one of New York City’s Art Deco gems and really the best building that the architectural firm of Delano & Aldrich ever designed. A close secomd is the firm’s Pan American Airways terminal in Miami.
