No post this week, sorry. The Beauty of Transport has gone on holiday to the United States of America. I hope to collect some ideas and images for future entries from the country that built some of the most spectacular monuments to public transit, before largely turning its back on collective transport (aeroplanes notwithstanding).

The blog should be back up and running next week (post-holiday fatigue permitting) on the usual day at the usual time.
